The Prediction Booth
One question for every guest at Egypt Connect: what changes in advertising by 2027? Each guest answers in 20 seconds, on camera, in a booth built for InMobi and Microsoft.
The idea
“What changes in advertising by 2027?”
The room is full of marketers, media buyers and founders. They all have an opinion. We give them a stage for it, branded end to end by the two hosts.
One question, every guest
The prompter asks the same question all day, so the answers add up to one story about the market.
Press start, talk for 20 seconds
The camera is built into the booth. Guests press one button and answer, with no one standing behind a lens. Each clip comes out vertical and ready for LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
Phone first, then the wall
The guest scans a QR code and gets the clip. The same take goes live on the reel wall facing the room.
The booth
Built in the hosts’ colours, from floor to header.
A 3.0 × 2.5 m set with one fixed camera unit: camera, ring light, prompter and a start button, already mounted and framed. Drag to look around, or press the glowing button on the unit to run a take.
- 0:00Step on the mark
- 0:10Press start and read the question
- 0:15Record one prediction, 20 seconds
- 0:40Scan the QR to get the clip

- Camera unit · camera, light, prompter and start button in one branded column
- Backdrop · behind every clip, so each video carries Egypt Connect
- Header beam · booth name with both hosts
- Reel wall · moving strip of the latest takes, facing the room
- Podium · QR to get the clip
- Floor mark · where to stand
The reel
What the room will hear.
Every take becomes a vertical clip with captions, the Egypt Connect frame and a timer. Tap a clip to play it large.
These predictions and roles are samples written for this proposal. On the day, every clip is a real guest who has agreed to be filmed.
After the scan
The QR opens a second, branded layer.
Scanning the podium code opens an Egypt Connect page on the guest’s phone. It holds their clip, then gives them two more ways to take part. Every tap is branded InMobi × Microsoft, and every vote feeds the 2027 Pulse.
- 01Your clip. Watch it, save it, post it with the Egypt Connect frame already on.
- 02Pick your theme. Tag your prediction and see how the room is voting, live.
- 03Agree or not? Swipe through other guests’ predictions and see where you stand.
- 04See you in 2027. Opt in to get your prediction back at next year’s Egypt Connect.
Tap “Scan the code” to open the guest page.
Your 2027 prediction is ready.
What was your prediction about?
Sample numbers for this proposal.
You’re on the 2027 list.
At Egypt Connect 2027 we’ll play your prediction back and see if you called it.
Opt-ins are shared with InMobi and Microsoft only, under the event’s consent terms.
Guest flow
Under a minute, start to finish.
Step in
A host greets the guest and points to the mark on the floor.
Press start
The guest presses the button. The prompter shows the question and a 3-2-1 countdown.
Record
The mounted camera records one 20-second take. Captions are added automatically.
Scan
The branded code opens the guest page: their clip, a theme vote and a swipe through the room’s predictions.
Go live
The take joins the reel wall the whole room can see.
What InMobi and Microsoft take home
Content, reach and a read on the market.
A month of posts
Every take is a 20-second clip in the Egypt Connect frame. The best 30 become a series for both brands’ channels.
Guests post for you
Each guest shares a clip of themselves with the event branding, to their own network.
The 2027 Pulse
A one-page read of every prediction, grouped by theme, delivered the week after the event. Sample below.
Illustrative split, not real results.
Next year’s opener
At Egypt Connect 2027, play the predictions back to the room and see who called it.
